Podere La Vecchia Fornace

Very nice house in the country, with a lot of character, what we were looking for. Excellent views, nice rooms and good heating.

Very small fridge for seven people. Internet didn’t work and the owner said that he would fix it the next day but he didn’t. A thing that we really need nowadays, a pitty.

Convenient location just off the motorway. Peaceful and comfortable home.

Lovely countryside location not far front Cortona by car. The large villa is divided into a few different sized apartments but each has its own entrance and outdoor dining area so relatively private. Nice pool to cool off in after a hot day off sightseeing. Kitchen was well equipped and useful to be able to prepare food for a family. Staff were helpful and they even sell wines from the property.

Nothing major, just the shower pressure is very weak but this may be common in the area.

Wonderful, authentic Tuscan accommodation. An excellent starting point for exploring the area.

A minor renovation would be timely. The shower was leaking and needed to be replaced, the glass shelf of the fridge was broken ... with a little extra attention these could all be fixed.

Pictures better than real, owner is so kind and helper but the facility needs renovate sheets, furniture, paint walls..

I thought it was more renovate wc so old, shower..

Very nice accommodation well located for various excursions to nearby towns. The rustic and tastefully furnished apartments offer an authentic Tuscan atmosphere. The kitchen is equipped with basic equipment, but enough to last even for longer stays. The apartment on the first floor also has air conditioning. There is enough space on the fairly large property for every guest to find their own quiet corner.

The apartment could have been cleaned better, but apparently this is the standard to get used to in this part of Italy. The manager speaks only Italian

Great rustic style accommodation, spacious and well appointed, comfortable. Nice grounds, good pool.

Hot water worked intermittently, there is no air conditioning as advertised but this isn't really a problem as the house is cool.
