Very well located for Lake Como. Easy to access by car and a short walk from Dorio station. The property was well equipped for a self catering trip with a kitchenette, dining facilities and a washing machine.

Had the odd issue with wifi connectivity but not enough to be an issue

The views were stunning. It was clean. The location was great if you wanted a more chilled and relaxed version of Lake Como.

The pool was really dirty on the one sunny day we were there.

This apartment was perfect for our needs as parents with our teenage daughter in Lake Como for a week. We loved the bright, high ceiling apartment with a lovely view of the lake from the large terrace. The apartment has a kitchenette with all the necessary utensils, crockery, a fridge, kettle and washing machine (in the bathroom). The bathroom was spacious, clean and modern with good storage and shelving. The sofa bed in the living room was comfortable for my daughter and there is a TV, table and chairs (wobbly legs) provided. There is a garden dining set and 2 loungers on the large front terrace and a small bistro set on the back patio (beside the front door) which was a lovely sun trap in the mornings. This place is well situated to spend time in Bellano, Dervio, Colico, Varenna and beyond however you absolutely need a car to access this property and to get around. Free carparking is provided and the property is secure with a coded entrance gate. There is a train station nearby but there is no pathway to walk there and the trains are not regular enough. It is situated in a lovely quiet part of Lake Como (Dorio). The swimming pool was clean and quiet. Electric shutters on all windows were secure and kept the rooms cool while out during the daytime.

The amount of steps we had to walk up to get to our front door (a lot!) which was inconvenient with shopping or in the rain bursts that can occur in Italy. It would not be suitable for elderly or those with babies/toddlers. We could not get our hob top cooker working and the owner was no help when we asked her about it. The front door could only be opened from the inside with a key which is not ideal in a fire and there is no alternative exit.
