The location was good. There are shops downstairs, and the grocery store is not too far. The location is quite Ideal

We stayed in a 3 bedroom flat and only one room had an ensuite bathroom. We were initially given a flat that had mould and smelled awful, I have respiratory issues and also had my kids so we couldn't stay there, but they gave us another one flat which was slightly better, which still had only 2 bathrooms. Our recent stay was nothing short of a frustration-packed experience, one that I wouldn’t wish upon any traveller seeking a relaxing and comfortable lodging. Despite its prime central location in Hamraa/Al Salamah, which admittedly makes commuting around the city quite convenient, the glaring lack of basic amenities and services completely overshadowed this lone positive aspect. Upon arrival, we were greeted not by a friendly face at reception but by an alarming emptiness. Throughout most of our stay, reception was unnervingly vacant, leaving us to feel like we were navigating a deserted building rather than a supposedly serviced apartment. This absence of staff was not just a mild inconvenience; it translated into a cascade of issues that made our stay quite unpleasant. There were times when we would walk through the reception and the security would not even acknowledge us, as if we were squatters. To begin with, the apartments were astonishingly devoid of essential toiletries – a basic expectation in even the most modest accommodations. Complementing this neglect was the absence of towels, an oversight that speaks volumes about the lack of attention to guest comfort and needs. It was incredibly frustrating having to remind the staff to provide what should have been ready upon our arrival. Another uncomfortable aspect was the absence of bedsheet change throughout our 2 week stay. No guest relishes the thought of returning to a bed that's been untouched by housekeeping after a tired day.. Our discomfort was further exacerbated by the fact that we had to actively call the staff just to get basic cleaning done.
