Superb view, large pool perfect for swimming, nice and cosy rooms, fabulous breakfast

There was a sewer smell in our bathroom but nothing too dramatic

Very comfortable beds with the softest mattresses, beautiful views, the staff were very nice and helpful.

The owner downgraded us on arrival from a room with two beds, which we had booked, to a room with one bed. We had to have a somewhat heated argument and then involve Booking before we got the room we booked. Not very pleasant to have to fight to get what you already paid a very high price for. Then there was no kettle in the room, so we had to use the cooker to heat water for tea, but it took a whole 30 minutes to heat a cup of water as the cooker rings heat up only very very slowly. Luckily we were not planning to cook, as this would have been impossible despite the availability of a full set of pots and pans. Another issue was the complete lack of hot water early in the morning and late at night. Since we had had such a bad check-in experience we didn’t bother complaining about the hot water or cooker issues, however we would not stay here again or recommend for anyone else to stay. It’s a pity, because the location is spectacular and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
