The beds were comfy and the AC worked well. Rooms were spacious.

The charging ports are all very loose. Hot water situation is not the best, it takes a while for it pour and when it does it’s lukewarm at best. The sofa in the living room was worn out and torn, a little unappealing.

Location close to Apollo hospital. Walkable distance just 10 min.

Dirty and smelly washroom. No soap holder in the bathing area.

This is my first time trying booking.com in chennai and StayEasy had decent ratings on Google. Before booking I called them a could of times to Inquire about the place and even mentioned in detail that the people traveling are elderly couple and requested easy access room and be clean and neat. So I booked the rooms early September for the stay in the middle of October. While booking I also clearly mentioned that although the booking was done for the 19th the guests are expected to arrive on 20th early morning. During the time between Chennai city was given a alert that might be hit with a strom and I called the management to inquire the procedure to cancel if the plans were about to change. I also clearly mentioned that I didn't want to to cancel it just an inquiry on the procedure. The manager over the call told me that they don't do anything and asked us to deal with booking.com. I did not cancel my reservation since the storm changed it's traction and moved to the north. Meanwhile I also did sent my dad 2 days before to make sure the place looks good enough for the stay. When the guests arrived the place just had the receptionist and he repeatedly kept saying the booking has been cancelled and ignored the guests request to provide some chairs to sit. when the manager came to the site, things started to become an argument since the manager repeatedly claimed the same without providing any confirmation. When I tried to connect on call with him he kept raising his voice at me and the guest by saying that I cancelled the booking. I still kept saying that I did not and in the app my booking still shows active. There was a huge drama which I wasn't prepared of and clearly it's the management fault to misinterpreting my inquiry; also if they had cancelled it at least they should have did through official procedures and should have sent me an email/message.
