Located above Elounda this family run gem of a hotel has commanding views of the town and the surrounding area. We were made to feel at home immediately. The hotel is well designed with apartments spread perfectly over the site so that everyone has their own private area. Our boutique room was well furnished and sizeable enough for our needs and very quiet. We had commanding views and the sun rise/set and moon rises were wonderful. The owners, family and staff are all very friendly and helpful and work so hard to make your stay special. The breakfast setting is out of this world. Your sit by the pool under an old olive tree with those beautiful views, simply amazing. Breakfast is a great mixture from a full english to the more continental fruits, yogurts etc. It is well thought out and utterly delicious and comes with a small selection of homemade cakes and savouries. After breakfast the pool kitchen serves snacks and meals all day until 7pm. You are given a large bottle on arrival and this can be topped up with fresh water from the pool dispenser or swapped for a new bottle. There is a restaurant which serves a-la-carte and special dishes on an evening. We ate in three times and the food is likewise delicious. The main reception building has a well stocked bar, pool table and a really good selection of books for all to use. During our stay we visited the markets and town of Agios Nikolaos, Spinalonga and walked the four miles to Plaka. We ate out in Elounda most nights and there are a myriad of different restaurants to suit all tastes. There are lots of shops and some nice boutiques selling local and not so local goods. Being situated above the town there is a steep climb to the hotel but we managed it without issue, but don't be put off you can get a taxi if needed for a small fee. Regardless of the above I think the thing that made our stay very special was the friendliness of the hotel management and its staff and the locals.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel mit einem traumhaft schönen Blick auf Elounda und Spinalonga. Hübscher Pool, sehr gutes Frühstück. Auch Restaurant ist gut. Freundliches Personal. Sehr bequeme Betten.

Etwas hellhörige Zimmer. Der Wohnbereich des Appartements ist recht schlicht und einfach eingerichtet.

the daily greek specials at the onsite restaurant, the piano player, the staff were always available when needed.

More sun loungers by the pool would have been nice.

The location was wonderful with a panoramic view of the mountains and water. The staff were so friendly. The breakfast was served at the poolside restaurant. The choice was excellent with good fresh coffee and fresh pressed orange juice. A special dish was offered on the menu every night in addition to a la carte choice. We will certainly return and highly recommend to other travellers.

There was nothing i did not like. Everything was beautiful.
