Elounda Heights (Adults Only)

The breakfast was delicious every day with plenty of choice and always set me up for the day. The daily fresh pastries, jams and bread that came with your choice of breakfast was a beautiful touch. The setting was perfect, by the pool looking out to the sea…absolutely serene and tranquil. My room was the most beautiful I have ever stayed in, having the use of my own pool was wonderful and I spent most of my days reading by the pool and gazing over to Spinalonga…I can’t speak highly enough of the hotel. The staff were so kind, caring and friendly. I was quite overwhelmed travelling alone for the first time, but all of the staff made me feel so welcome and at home, and it made me feel like I wasn’t so alone as I always knew I had someone to go to if I needed help or just a chat. Thank you Natalia, Kostas and all of the wonderful team for such a memorable and enjoyable stay.

There was not one thing I didn’t like. Oh wait, leaving…I didn’t like leaving haha.

Very private hotel with excellent and friendly service. The rooms are simple and clean. The pool area is cozy, offers beautiful views, and creates a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast is very good.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Immer frisch zubereitet. Schöne Auswahl a la carte.

Nothing we disliked

Die Lage ist unschlagbar: Der Ausblick auf die Mirabello-Bucht ist atemberaubend und allein schon ein Highlight des Aufenthalts. Die gesamte Anlage ist gepflegt und liebevoll gestaltet, und besonders angenehm war die wohltuende Ruhe (Adults-only-Hotel) Sehr positiv aufgefallen ist auch, dass kostenlos Wasser bereitgestellt wurde. Das Frühstück war köstlich und das Personal stets freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Beim Appartement selbst gibt es jedoch Luft nach oben. Die Größe stimmt, aber die Einrichtung ist recht karg und wenig durchdacht – es fehlen unter anderem Haken für z.B. Jacken oder Taschen. Das Bad ist sehr klein und bietet kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten, was im Alltag schnell unpraktisch wird. Etwas störend war zudem, dass es nicht erlaubt war, eigene Speisen oder Getränke an den Pool mitzubringen. Ein kleiner Hinweis für Erstbesucher: Die Anlage scheint vor allem auf Stammgäste und ein etwas älteres Publikum ausgerichtet zu sein. Als jüngere Gäste, die zum ersten Mal dort waren, fühlten wir uns anfangs nicht ganz so herzlich willkommen wie die offensichtlichen Stammgäste – kein Dealbreaker, aber etwas, das man wissen sollte.
