We booked the room just a few hours before our arrival. When we arrived, we found cleaning tools and an open closet used as a storage area right at the entrance – not a pleasant welcome. There was a very bad smell coming from the bathroom and the refrigerator. I don’t recall there being any window that could be opened in the room. The sofa bed was not clean. It’s important to mention that this was a non-refundable booking for over €100 per night. However, due to the terrible smell and poor condition of the apartment, we immediately contacted the property to cancel. The host agreed to charge only €63 instead of the full amount, but I was very disappointed – I believe we deserve a full refund, as the place was not suitable for staying and did not match the standard shown in the listing.
