Garifalakis Comfort Rooms

excellent location and rooms

Our host, Nektaria, was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful time in Milos and would stay at Garifalakis again. It is an easy walk to the restaurants and beaches.

The location An easy 5-7min stroll into the Main Street of Pollonia where there are many beautiful restaurants and cafes to eat at. The area is very quiet and peaceful which means you’ll get a good night sleep! The swimming beach is located about a 3min walk away with lots of trees for shade. There is also a fabulous traditional Greek sweets shop in main town that is easily walkable too. If you’d like a peaceful stay close to a main town and swimming beach - this should be a top pick! They also have a large carpark if you are driving :) The room (comfort one bedroom apartment) Very clean and modern with all that we needed for our stay. The bathroom is a traditional style with a stone tiled shower. The room was very clean and towels were replaced daily. We had two balconies which was great for sun/shade depending on the time of day. There were two air cons and also a kitchenette. It’s a fantastic base for exploring Milos. The people!! The family and staff who run Garifalakis are some of the kindest people we’ve met on our travels. We had flight drama trying to arrive to Milos from Athens (as it was very windy our plane got turned around). We messaged Garifalakis and they told us about the last ferry out to Milo’s for the night. And they met us at the port at 1am to pick us up! They made check in so easy and made excellent recommendations on where to eat, hire ATVs, sail on a catamaran and where to explore to get the most out of the island. They are also extremely friendly and made coming back to the hotel at the end of the day really enjoyable - welcoming us like family with their kind greetings and conversations. We are already looking forward to returning to Garifalakis, it was an exceptional stay!

We were fortunate enough to enjoy an early check in and loved that spaciousness of the room. The hotel is located walking distance from all the restaurants and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything was satisfactory.

Clean room with comfortable bed. Very good location which is close to Pollonia beach and Pollonia centre (5-10 mins walk). Sofia, Sotirios and Nektarina are the BEST hosts we've had on our trip to Greece. I wish all hosts were like them. They recommended a very good local restaurant (Enalion) and a good brunch place (Deck). Absolutely the best and comfortable experience. They also gave us a little gift on check out. 10/10!

Excellent location, 5 mins walk away from the restaurants. The room was Beautiful and spacious with a lovely view. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming from the family run business we didn’t want to leave. Hopefully we will come back again!!

We loved everything about this stay. The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious and had a well equipped kitchen to cook simple meals. We utilised the rental car through Garifalakis and this process was very convenient and easy. The owner Nektaria was lovely and extremely helpful whenever we needed something.
