It’s a beautiful place.

Everything was nice

The place is really clean. Great Views and easy to access.

Unfortunately before we left we wanted to see if its possible to keep our luggage stored so we can enjoy the village before we leave but the reception was empty with a note.

Location, the mowed lawn, equipped kitchen.

The charging for the EV didn’t work. The blinders were all broken in the room. There was no support in the reception.

We came to Rättvik for the midsummer celebrations happening nearby at the Old Farm. Out of summer season the place is a bursa/dormitory and it is visible. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with a small kitchen annex, table, wardrobe. Our room had also a private bathroom. Overall we did enjoy the stay, it was just next to the Siljan lake and all places we needed to go to. The breakfasts in the buffet form were okay, but very simple. On the day of midsummer's eve, there was also a delicious cake served :)

It seemed like everything was under additional payment. Earlier check in, breakfast, bed linens, and towels. While I understand some of those, I don't know anyone casually travelling with their own bed linens - I believe this should be part of the price upfront. Most of the time reception was empty, even during the reception working hours and to get a hold of someone, you had to call the number provided. Something to take in mind when booking: before leaving, the guests are expected to clean surfaces and take out the trash. The staff is only cleaning the floors.

The kitchen was well equipped. The surroundings were beautiful, right next to the lake. Also, we wish we could have used the outdoor seating but sadly it was raining. The rooms were nice and large.

Location was pretty excellent.. Didn't had breakfast at the hotel
