Heated Pool, Huge TV, Waterfront Tiki Bar & Grill, Close to Beaches

The location of our stay was 10 steps from the heated pool and the Tiki Bar.

When we arrived the curtain to our window was hanging by a screw....literally! We went to dinner at Tiki Bar bc it was a long drive and kids were hungry. We came back from dinner and the whole curtain and rods were on the floor. I checked in with the owner (per there reqst) and I was told maintenance was sick and they'd be out in the morning. Well I have 2 boys and we're on the first floor where people are walking nonstop. The bathroom sink would not go down the drain and was almost to the rim when we left. And the a/c smells like cigarettes & potpourri when you turn it on. Not to mention the beds were loud and the sheets were pilly. I do not recommend the stay!

My room was dirty when I checked in. Had to wait 3 hours in the lobby then put me in another room until the next day with a tiny t.v. they had construction going on from 9 am to 4 pm with loud equipment running constantly right in front of my room door. When I complained they gave me a hard time and said that they couldn't do anything about it. I told them that they should have been honest on the advertisement to let people know that construction was going to be going on so that people can decide if they wanted to deal with it beforehand, and have a choice to go elsewhere. They downplayed it and said there's nothing they can do. I WANT A FULL REFUND. I will never use that hotel again. And because booking.com couldn't be reached. I never using them again either.

You needed to go out for breakfast.

The floor in room had large dirty spots. The door didn’t look very secure and I was concerned about a break in as this section of Sarasota is certainly not the best of area’s. This is the first place I’ve ever rented without a closet.

I liked the pool. The room was fairly clean and location is nice. However the staff was not very nice and the renter denied us a discount for hurricane relief after we lost our home. Not their problem I know but it just seems unfair. The hotel also denied any help. Oh and I BROKE my toe on the bedframe. It's unsafe in my opinion. Definitely don't bring small children here.

Broken dresser drawers, nowhere to hang any clothing, no luggage rack, no chair(s), and a non functioning refrigerator (hotel staff did provide a new one). No dish soap, only 3 paper towels and only a partial roll of toilet paper. Washer and dryer not within the property as insinuated in advertising, but somewhere within the hotel.
