Suites San Luis

Very pleasant, convenient, central to Zona Dorado. Perfectly clean interior (bedroom, kitchen, living room area), modest exterior, in a quiet, pleasant, and safe neighborhood one block back from the main boulevard Camaron Sabalo. Restaurants within walking distance, also easy access for taxis and smaller open-air vehicles to various locations. Easy beach access by walkway between larger hotels one block away onto very clean and safe beach also used by larger hotels. Owned and managed by a Mexican family. VERY helpful and friendly manager Diana Angelica is devoted to comfort, service, and orientation, always available by phone if not on site. She welcomes you home to Suites San Luis upon arrival, and wants you to feel as if you are at home. Wonderful!

Responses by email to confirm reservation and arrival were slow, but ultimately successful. Assisted through Booking.com. 50% prepayment from USA required by bank wire transfer rather than credit card seemed unusual, but perhaps due to currency concerns or concern about cancellations. Hotel may require payment of balance in cash pesos or dollars upon check-in, as is stated in fine print on Booking site, so may need to be prepared with cash, or hotel may accept credit card. Ultimately, either method was acceptable, but was a bit confusing....and one could be surprised if did not have sufficient cash or concerned about travelling with cash.

No idea. I booked the property last year. When I tried to confirm the dates, no one responded to my many emails. Had to book another place.

Very poor communication.

Our host was lovely, and super helpful. The location is great for walking to restaurants and stores and the beach. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and well-equipped. The parking is private and secure.
