The location , a short walk to the stunning beach & a short walk to the main street of town & 5 minutes drive to Tropea.The gardens, the supply of outdoor tables & chairs & beach umbrellas . The sea view & view of Mt Stromboli. Our spacious apartment & very friendly & helpful host.

Nothing. It’s fantastic!

You needed a car. The garden setting was OK, but the mosquitoes could enter everywhere except the bedroom, which had the only flyscreen. The covered parking across the road was good. We loved the photos, but they were very old and did NOT depict the apartment as it is in 2024.

When we arrived the bed had a towelling bottom sheet and a coverlet on top. I realised that the floor was dirty, when I walked from the bedroom to the bathroom and my bare feet felt dirty. They were covered in grime. I took a photo. The garden had not been tended for a long time. The bar and pool facilities as well as the "garden",across the road bore NO relationship to the photos whatsoever. The bar was like a shack and again the garden was unkempt. The bed was made up by the manager and the cleaner was blamed for not making it up, by the manager. The bathroom was dirty.

absolutely exceptional location and the access of the staff was at an excellent level, everything on hand, lovely facilities - restaurant, pool, lounge, barbecue options in beautiful surroundings and helpful staff in the kitchen and at the bar, beach within easy reach - just a few steps and you are by the sea, wonderful views of the Stromboli volcano, will definitely be back.

Lovely apartment (with a sea view), nice balcony. Maria Theresa was a great host. Great facilities, nice pool, close to a beautiful beach if you don’t mind the steps up and down. Pousada’s bar and cafe were also very good and we loved the pizzas. I am so glad we stayed in Parghelia and Pousada, there were plenty of restaurants nearby, a couple of mini markets and a train station and which was one train stop from Tropea.

We loved our stay! The toilet could do with an upgrade in the apartment that we stayed in and a bedside light either side of the double bed rather than just the one, would be much better.

The pousada is great. Very comfortable and well handled. The apartment feels like home. Very bear to the beach, which is one of the most beautiful beaches that I've seen. Maria is ver helpful and friendly. We would definitely come back!
