Breakfast was superb with fresh fruit, homemade yogurt and bread and very good coffee The hosts Sarah and Laurent were very very helpful I enjoyed breakfast every morning on the balcony which had exceptional views

The views and pool and everything about it was stunning. The hosts and owners are so kind and friendly. Absolutely fabulous in every way

Everything was amazing. The owners are friendly, the room and facilities are great. Amazing views as well, A nice small property as well with the facilities of a large property. The owners helped me as well when the airline changed my flight at last minute and my french was not so good.

Parking wasn't obvious, some on street and a couple on property but that is a minor issue, once the friendly hosts point it all out to you :-)

Sarah was an exceptional host - friendly and welcoming and gave great tips on restaurants and things to do in the area. Breakfast freshly prepared with local fruits and produce was excellent.

Kaz Orea is an absolute gem, and is highly recommended. Laurent and Sarah are very welcoming and very helpful with advice on visits, restaurants, etc. Our appartment had a fabulous view of the sea and St Leu, and in the morning the sky was full of paragliders to entertain us, and maybe try one day! The pool and terrace is lovely, and in the afternoon Sarah will often bring down homemade lemon and ginger juice. A car is necessary as the b & B is someway up the hillside at Colimacons, and to reach the Maido or the volcano, you need a car unless going by helicopter! Absolutely essential to do both, we think. We had the optional breakfast, which included excellent homemade bread and brioche, as well as delicious jams and fruit juice, with the option of scrambled eggs. Very clever stuff. For us it was a better option than a hotel. For our 4 night stay, after visiting Mauritius, we originally booked into the Lux at St Gilles. We are very glad we cancelled that and found Kaz Orea instead.

There is nothing to criticise. We think a welcome pack would be helpful as we arrived on Sunday evening. Just some bread or crisps, a bottle of wine maybe, something to go in a sandwich.
