Lighthouse on La Palma Island

Very stylish hotel out of 3 rooms only. Great design and attention to details(for example they have good coffee maker not capsuled one), personal really takes care and despite we were given bit misleading instructions for check in(wrong code for the key box) one of the ladies waited until we lately arrived and controlled that all went well on the phone.

Few minors: 1. I would change the pillows(very low) and majority of textile for the price of 400 euro per night you expect best textile as in top hotels. 2. Toilet inside of the room surrounded by the glass doors is not a very good idea, but it as it is. 3. Check the wind forecast as we were with 30km/h and it was looking like hurricane, this is very old building and in such wind you have it through all the windows(definitely not a hotel fault but be aware).

everything about this lighthouse is wonderful. from the infinity pool to the stunning views, it's incredible. we wished we could have stayed for weeks. truly an exceptional experience. we will be looking for more Floatel (company that owns the property) stays around the world. the breakfast was delightful and the property was clean. I didn't realize we would be allowed to go up the lighthouse. from there, you can see the surrounding banana fields and cliffs. at night, they have a light show. there is also a terrace on the roof of the main hotel building. there is a yoga deck overlooking the cliffs and ocean which connects to a path to walk the garden the lighthouse keepers used to use for food. we had an issue with check-in. they were texting my USA phone # (which was off), the usual housekeeper was sick, and I didn't read the check-in email. basically a comedy of errors; so I had to contact the owner through WhatsApp using the booking phone # and Tim was super helpful. He did a virtual check-in, opened the gate remotely, and explained everything. Having the owner take the time to do this for us was a level of service that was totally unexpected. Thanks again, Tim! the exclusivity was a cherry on top. we had to close the gate quickly after entering to keep nosy tourists from barging in on the peaceful ambience. we did see several tourists trying to figure out how to get in before we snuck in with Tim's help.

pool could have been heated. it was freezing. this takes nothing away from the rating. Just an idea for improvement. the executive suite was basically two rooms (two beds, two bathrooms) in one. I wouldn't recommend booking it for one couple unless you want tons of space.

Fantastic location. Fabulous clean infinity pool - especially good in the evening for star gazing! Great breakfast delivered to the room. Kitchen well appointed. Comfy outside furniture and sun beds. Amazing views. Great to be able to climb up the inside of a lighthouse.

The lighting is confusing, bedside lights did not work, only one light availability to read by. Sofa not very comfortable and only one person could use the light by the sofa.

Amazing and magical property, one of the best stays I've ever been to. Room is super clean, spacious, modern, with great interior design. Entire lighthouse is perfectly maintained and you can see there is a lot of effort put in the details. Kitchen is fully equipped. Pili is really helpful and she prepared an amazing fresh breakfast delivered to your door in a basket. Infinity pool overlooking the ocean is just a bonus. Highly recommend!

Unique, beautiful, peaceful location. Pili the housekeeper was exceptional.

Air-conditioning not working, and windows very stiff to open and close.

Spacious and well designed apartment, wonderful terrace and garden, beautiful view especially from the tower, extraordinary breakfast, very friendly reception, super pool (a bit cold in wintertime :-))

no restaurant or grocery store nearby, access to the sea is limited, for swimming in the sea you better go to the public sea water pools in the next village.
