When I booked my accommodation, I was a bit concerned the place wouldn’t be good but after arriving to the hotel, I’ve changed my mind. I stayed in Karim hotel for almost a week, and I can say I’m very satisfied with my room and the service I have received. It’s true there are no usual hotel facilities, such a swimming pool, gym, restaurant (they are working to open a restaurant soon), but the hotel is clean, well maintained and well decorated. The rooms are big, “studios are huge” as per my colleague, very comfortable and clean, with almost all the items you could find in 4 * hotels (iron, kettle, slippers, hair dryer, etc... There is daily cleaning and 24h reception service. Basic Arabic breakfast served in the room (if purchased). I think the place is perfect for all work travels - if you are assigned in the area. Also, if you want to visit the area and bring your family, bigger apartments with kitchens etc. are available. As it was my first time in Ras Tanura, I would like to also thank the hotel manager, Mr. Mohammed, who helped me with all the logistics before and during my stay. He did his best to always accommodate all my requests. Very grateful as I will be also coming back in August. Thank you.
