No 47 Marine Terrace

The location was right on the sea front with easy access to the town. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Perfectly adequate for a night.

The apartment was in the roof so had restricted headroom which was not clear at time of booking. The bathroom had no lock on the door and the kitchen facilities were limited, only one teaspoon no tea towels or oven gloves. We were only there for one night and only ate breakfast in the property but the little things were annoying.

It was a complete scam. I booked an Apartment. I got two rooms with no doors and a bathroom !!!

On arrival, given 2 keys for 2 on suite rooms. No sign of expected kitchen/ living room. Advertised as an apartment, so puzzled! Returned, given a third key to unlock missing room. Too much furniture in kitchen space. Considerably overpriced, given the overall state & facilities of the property. Sash windows very draughty, not good when wind cool & strong. Both rooms had double beds, one standard, one king. We booked for 4 people with the expectation of 2 beds in one of the rooms. As we were only 3, we kept quiet. "Toiletries" was pushing it a bit. In one room there was a tiny soap & bottle of shampoo. We asked for forks & a tea towel & those were provided promptly, but advance room checks had clearly been a bit casual.

Lack of hot water on the day we left, we're told that many guests leaving early had drained the tank, cold showers weren't a good goodbye to the accommodation.

Loved the location, great property, amazing views, nice staff.

The only thing i would mention is that its not very clean. There was a lot of dust and you could just tell it wasn’t very clean
