I could not find my peace ! neighbor was always smoking from another side of bathroom, smoke comes in, always at home so observing balcony, hard to take sun tan ;) Saturday morning woken up by workers behind the wall cleaning the table from old paint … come on! it should be ready in April not June…. again not possible to sun tan. As a smoke and eyes already from another side of the room )))) and last day another house decided make renovations! so it was totally hell … I wanted be so far in silence. but no lack … ((( maybe next time …. in generally not bad, but they could make some more effort for make it even better. more quality …

First, we followed the navigation through the narrow serpentine streets upwards. Later we chose another way. When you exit the street in the other direction you will see the Story Tel taxi station (Bardakçı Taksi), the Casa Caria Hotel and a bus stop (please see my photos). If you set your navigation to get to these points you can get up the hill more easily. The Osman Nuri Bilgin Caddesi is broader and not so steep. Our apartment looked more pretty than the photos on booking.com. :) I imagine in this case we saw only sample photos indeed and not of the actual apartment. There was an air conditioner in the bedroom and also in the living room. For the night we used only the one in the living room because the temperature display was lighting in the dark. The view from the balcony was pleasant, there was also a sunbed and a laundry drying rack. The kitchenette had only very basic items but we got around it. We bought olive oil and asked for salt from the host. We also asked for a tea towel which they didn't have but gave us another small towel. They did provide us with washing-up liquid, a sponge and a cloth to wipe the table. Not all apartments or Apart Hotels do provide this. We asked for directions to the closest public beach and the host (we communicated by WhatsApp and in person) sent us a Google Map link to Gumbet Belediye Cafe. We didn't have to use the car park nearby because we walked, but you can see the fees in my photos. I want to mention that I cancelled my first booking because I was denied boarding at the airport in the UK since my passport was valid only for 3 months. Turkey requires 6 months! The apartment kindly waived my cancellation fee even though it was nonrefundable!

There wasn't anything I very disliked. Maybe to mention that the kitchenette, in my opinion, is not really equipped for cooking. Very few dishes and a 2-plate electric stove. e.g. there were no small bowls just a big one. As my passport got renewed very quickly we were still able to book 2 nights. For this stay, we were okay with the kitchenette as the fridge was big enough to store fruits, salad ingredients and drinks. We bought some börek too. My partner made scrambled eggs with sausage. For this one, there was a frying pan to use (and as in all other apartments the no-stick layer was damaged to some extent). The light didn't work in the bathroom so the first night we used the light from the kitchenette. (You wouldn't notice it if you take a shower during daylight which is long in the Summer). The next day the host organised an electrician and it was fixed very quickly. I want to add here because I couldn't use more characters in the "like" section, that there are no public toilets and showers at the Gumbet Belediye Cafe Beach. You can find WC in the Self-Service Gumbet Cafe though. Please see my photo. Booking.com is asking me here whilst I'm writing the review whether we visited Bardakci Bay Beach (6 mins walk). We didn't so might need to collect information about it elsewhere.

The location of the accommodation is very good. Close to the city center on foot, but still a bit further away. Very well-appointed, comfortable rooms and a very cozy little pool.

Unfortunately, the pools are a bit too chlorinated in Turkey. I can only say this as a problem here.

This was a beautiful apartment with a stunning view of Bodrum. You're about ten minutes walking from the marina in a nice quiet neighbourhood with a nice pool and peaceful surroundings. The apartment is very comfortable, modern and clean. The balcony is great and has an amazing view, sometimes you may get a feline visitor in the evening, she likes cheese 😉

Pretty appartment, spatious and clean. Has everything you need. Nice pool and garden. Great view of Bodrum

You need a car to get there because the slope is steep. If you have a car, the location is perfect and right next to many grocery stores and 5min from the marina
