Ida Village

Love the whole complex - the accommodation, the staff, the facilities, the location.

IDA Village is a wonderful place and you can see why people go back year on year. Some truly fantastic staff who are amazing with children. My little boy got a balloon animal every day at breakfast from Thespian (apologies if I've spelt the name incorrectly) and Petros was mixing fruit cocktails with him in the bar everyday. Great hospitality all round. The food offering was also brilliant for days round the pool. There are great clean facilities, two wonderful pool options and a smaller paddling pool as well as a small playground. And there are guard rails, highchairs and cots provided for free. The apartments are clean and lovely and it's in a fab location for accessing the busy part of hersonisos whilst feeling quiet enough to be relaxing. A wonderful stay was had by all!

There's not much to dislike to be honest. The 1 bed apartment was a bit more comfortable in terms of living space than the 2 bed just because it has some sofas but that's a minor point and the 2 bed has a lovely terrace to sit when the kids are asleep anyway.

Apartment is in great location close to city but on the side so it is very calm and silence there. Personnel is helpful and you can arrange anything you need on spot.

The kitchen shall be better equipped in untensils . ther was only basic items even not complete for four person.

The hotel is very clean and our rooms also. We would like to say thanks again to the good staff and especially Mrs Despoina at reception who care about all customers there!!

The apartment was clean and spacious and well equipped. Nice gardens around, staff was nice.

Groups of young people were staying in the apartments (probably due to its close proximity to Star Village/beach),resulting in a loud pool party on the first afternoon we came - a lady at reception accommodated us with a quiet apartment near the second pool, mainly used by families and non partying couples, so the noise didn't bother us. pools are a bit too deep for smaller children to swim (no shallow end to stand up etc). The entire east side of Hersonissos felt like a party town and more suitable for younger people than families, but there are many attractions for kids around the area so we found our way around it.
