Aegean Wave - Faros

Our host Antonio and his family made us very welcome and we enjoyed our stay very much

A very good choice of breakfast. A spacious apartment and balcony with sea view. The opportunity to visit the Mama Mia Chapel organised by the owner. Being picked up/dropped off from the port.

The restaurant is currently closed. The hotel was further up the hill than we expected and was a good 15 mins climb. We used the bus a couple of times (there is a stop not too far from the hotel - however there are only 3 a day) and used a taxi. Sometimes kindly the owners picked us up after the evening meals at the port tavernas. This property would be best if you had a car. Our plans had to change when 3 days beforehand we could not get hydrofoil tickets to Glossa so had to get the car ferry from Skiathos to Skopolos Town & then get a bus (taxi cost was quoted as 60 Euros) - if you want to use the flying dolphin then suggest book on line in advance. (There is also a sea taxi - rates vary depeninging on no. of passengers).

We had an amazing time at Aegean Wave . The views of the sea from our room were simply stunning. It was so cozy and comfortable, making our mornings and nights just perfect. The owner was super friendly and made us feel right at home. It was more than just a place to stay - it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We can’t wait to go back!

The hosts Antonios and his wife were extremely generous and welcoming. Prior to arrival communication was excellent. The apartment was second to non. It was spotless and you could tell a lot of thought, pride and love had been put into creating a very lovely place to stay from the well appointed kitchen to the spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Parking was good too. It's in a lovely position, near to Loutraki and Glossa, but peaceful. The view from the large balcony/ terrace was outstanding! There were plentiful loungers, a table and chairs where we had dinner watching the sunset. We only stayed one night as we had already booked a week on Skopelos as part of a package holiday, but wanted to see more of the island. I wish we could have stayed longer and I hope to visit again. Upon leaving we were given a jar of fruit which I shared with my father and it was lovely! Don't hesitate to book if relaxing in peace with a fantastic view and wonderful hosts is what you are looking for.

The owners were so welcoming and picked us (& took us back) to the port. We were upgraded to a room with a huge balcony and amazing views, especially at sunset. The room was exceptionally clean. We didn't have a car, but walking paths are nearby

Everything was perfect. Literally felt like I was staying on the set of mamma Mia. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. The view was breathtaking and the rooms had everything I could need or hope for. A huge variety of options for breakfast. I will absolutely stay here when I come back to skopelos!!! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!!!

We really liked the hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms with everything you need. Additionally, the breakfast in the morning is very healthy and delicious. Very nice staff at the hotel. We had a great holiday, highly recommended.

Beautiful place to stay , the owners Antonis and Andromachi make you feel at home 🏡 immediately. Always helpful. My room was gorgeous overlooking the port of Loutraki . Excellent breakfast
