Swiss Mountain Village

Loved the room clean and comfortable. Place was peaceful and the lake was awesome. If you are looking for a place to get away from hustle and bustle this is the place. Office personal was very helpful.

Walls are thin had bottom room. The room above us were very noisy.

Cute little cabin right off the blue ridge parkway. So it was close to a lot of hikes we wanted to do and close to Blowing Rock

We loved our stay here. The location was PERFECT. The cabin was so sweet and quaint. A little small and dark, but since we were using it as a base camp and out all day every day, this didn't affect us. The property managers were excellent with communications.

They could certainly use a new non-stick pan, and some hooks on the walls/doors to hang towels etc.

Clean, simple, comfortable- would definitely stay again. Communication was clear - we never actually interacted with staff but didn’t need to. Location is convenient to both Blowing Rock and Boone. Would definitely stay again- just will book sooner to get one of the cabin on the pond!

What a hidden gem! Accidently found this on line and immediately booked two nights. The cabins are built into the side of the mountain and accessed with narrow, winding, dirt roads. Picturesque, quaint and so quiet, you can feel the peace immediately upon arrival. The cabin was comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The washer/dryer was my favorite! Excellent customer service. I called to notify them we would be arriving after hours. The call was quickly answered, by a real human, who provided all the necessary information required for check in and check out when the office was closed, an incredibly easy process. The only cons are pets are prohibited, there is a resort fee applied at check out and dumping trash and stripping linens. I do not mind the last two cons but would have liked to be notified before paying the bill as it was a bit of a blindside. I would definitely return and have already recommended to friends. To the staff and management, well done!

The rooms were clean and the property was nice.

The issue I have with the listing is that the photographs are completely misleading. We were not on a lake, in fact if you step outside of the room our view was of an absolutely beautiful privacy hedge.
