Owner was helpful and welcoming, The chalet was clean and contained all the basic requirement, view is relaxing for the sea

The room provided was on the ground floor next to the pool with a small garden. Even though we didn't get time to use the pool, sitting in the garden was relaxing. The room had a lounge with a sofa and a table which was convenient to laze around. The bed was comfy too. The staffs were friendly and accommodated a last-minute change of date request (in spite of their policy not allowing changes or cancellations) due to my flight being canceled.

On reaching the property, we had to wait at the gate in the car for about half an hour for our passports to be verified (can see that this is very common anywhere in Egypt, but this did take a while). After the initial delay and on reaching the actual flat, we expected the flat to be ready, but it was not. The cleaners were just on the flat when we reached and were cleaning the room in our presence (hastily). Since the cleaner had to rush up since we were already waiting on the couch, the room wasn't cleaned as much as we would expect. The room was still smelly after they left. The room had a kitchen, but we weren't able to use it considering that the vessels weren't clean and the microwave wasn't cleaned either so we couldn't use that. The water pressure was really low on the showers (so low that you had to touch yourself with the shower head to get wet) that it was really difficult to have a quick shower. The location itself was a bit far from the Marsa Matruh area. So, this is more suitable for people who prefer quiet surroundings rather than a buzzing city.
