Once again, I visited this accommodation this year and everything was excellent.

The buildings itself was full of dampness,the furniture old and noisy, the bathroom door had an weired way of closing, 0 space to move in the room ,no cleaning service

The bathroom sink had a broken pipe, causing a constant leak and making the entire floor wet. On top of that, the room was filled with mosquitoes—I couldn't sleep at all and left covered in bites. The room also had a musty, moldy smell that was hard to ignore and made the space feel less clean and comfortable than I had hoped for.

We really enjoyed our stay at South Gate Apartments! The location couldn’t have been better — quiet and peaceful, yet just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, shops, and tavernas. It’s the perfect balance if you want to relax but still be close to everything. The apartment itself was simple but very comfortable. It was clean, had great air conditioning, a nice balcony for relaxing, and a well-kept garden area. We especially loved sitting outside in the evenings with a glass of wine. The Wi-Fi worked well and we had everything we needed, including a fridge, kettle, and even mosquito nets — a small but thoughtful touch! The host was very welcoming and made us feel at home from the start. You can tell they care about their guests. It’s not a luxury place, but it’s cozy, affordable, and in a fantastic spot. We had a lovely, stress-free holiday and would happily return. Highly recommended for couples or anyone looking for a calm stay near the beach.

We had a fantastic time at South Gate Apartments! The location is perfect – peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk from the beautiful sandy beach of Agios Georgios. There are supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants nearby, so we had everything we needed within walking distance. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay – air conditioning, a good Wi-Fi connection, a fridge, kettle, and even a balcony with a lovely garden view. It was the perfect spot for our morning coffee and evening wine. The host was incredibly kind and helpful – she welcomed us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed. Check-in was smooth and stress-free. We especially appreciated the free parking on-site and the calm, relaxed atmosphere. It felt like a true Greek village escape – quiet nights, fresh air, and the sound of nature all around. If you’re looking for a clean, well-located, and friendly place to stay in southern Corfu, I absolutely recommend South Gate Apartments. We would definitely stay again!

We had a truly wonderful experience staying at this lovely studio in Agios Georgios, Corfu. The place was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and perfect for two people. The bed was very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed having our morning coffee on the private balcony. The location is fantastic,just a short walk to the beautiful sandy beach and close to restaurants, cafés, and mini markets. It’s peaceful and quiet, ideal for relaxing, yet everything you need is nearby. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful, always available for anything we needed and gave us great local tips. The hospitality made us feel at home from the very beginning. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Corfu!
