Had a great stay. We were greeted by our host who shared a lot of great tips and insights for us to make the most of our visit. Really appreciated this approach. The building itself is a little run down, but the rooms are nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and were very clean. The location was great for us but may not be for everyone. There was a lung busting climb up from town after dinner every night. Ski area is the most spectacular I have ever visited but susceptible to closures due to high winds whipping around the Matterhorn. Was useful to have a hire car so we could be flexible on ski area when the lifts closed one day.

The building itself is very old and feels creepy, obviously previously it was a huge hotel, but it was not renovated probably since 1980. There are different companies who rent out the apartments there and if other guests have loud party during the night there is noone to approach to solve this issue as there is no receptionist on site. The apartment itself is renovated and quite cozy, but it lacks things like kitchen towel, hooks where to hang towels in the bathroom, some kitchen equipment like chopping board and cheese grinder.

Excellent location right by ski lifts, 2 restaurants and mini market right by the apartment, large lounge area in apartment.
