Relais Zenner

Location and view overlooking Lake Garda was spectacular.

Limited facilities, but the local village is not that far away.

Location was stunning. View was amazing. Facilities well kept, super clean

It’d be absolutely perfect with a washing machine in the apartment + a bar service for the pool.

The pool view was lovely, apartment was spacious, staff were very friendly and helpful. Kitchen and facilities were good, with spare towels for the pool. Enough outside soave.

Parking was a bit tight. Make sure to check the easiest driving route. We followed Google maps and ended up scraping the sides off our hire car having to make a choice between reversing up a tight track open on one side down a sheer drop, or going between two walls too tight for the car. The roads are tight but fine as long as you pick the right ones!

The appartement was very spacious, modern and clean wich made us feel very comfortable and the view is absolutely stunning. The complex with the garden and the swimming pool is also very well maintained and relaxing. There are two little restaurants nearby and otherwise in the Village down the Lago di Garda

Actually nothing at the complex itself,, would have stayed longer. Maybe during high season the price wouldnbe too high for us. To go to the lake it is quite a walk down and up when you go back, when warm it can be a bit exhausting, but a nice walk when you take it easy and otherwise you'll need a car.

Entry road is extremely narrow, not for every driver or car. Airco was not the coolest.

It was our second time at relais Zenner. We enjoyed the views, which are truly breathtaking, the fact that we could always find a place at the pool despite it being busy. The local restaurant serves the most delicious food. It is quiet place at night and all the residents seemed to be respectful.

We stayed at the different apartment on the ground floor this time and the experience was slightly different. The beds were very uncomfortable, very hard and I didn’t have a good rest, the pillows were uncomfortable (hard) too. Some might argue, that it is good for a back, but I think it should be a choice or the beds should be medium - not hard, not too soft. The shower was very small and they don’t have a bath for children. As per last year, they still don’t supply with a toaster, microwave in the kitchen or decent coffee machine. It is self catering place so it would have been a nice touch to supply with necessities like salt and pepper, a small olive oil. They are very frugal with toilet paper too. There is no clarity about the change of towels and where to leave the dirty ones. There is no washing machine in the apartments so dirty clothes was an issue as well. There is one communal one but the access to it is quite difficult. They are responsive to messages in a polite but impersonal manner under “the management”. The pool is very cold in the mornings as it is not heated, it is not an issue later in the day. Despite this, we had a pleasant time and it is nice and modern place. But personally, we enjoyed it last year much more.

The only thing we missed was a bar/coffee place or even some self serving facilities. We arrived very late and had no food or drink with us. Grocery shopping takes minimum 30 mins from the place
