Elbschlösschen Refugium

The place is beautifully situated by the river Elben and just 5 min. walk from the old center of Pirna. The room was actually two rooms and a bathroom and very comfortable in all ways; good bed, nice bathroom fine little kitchen.

The trainrails run just behind the house and long freighttrains race with enormous noice during the night. This caused our sleep to be disturbed every night.

Nice location, next to the river and close to the centre of old town, about 1,5 km from the railway station. Very cute place in many ways! Friendly staff.

If you are not a good sleeper, the sound from the railway might disturb a bit because the trains go near. Days are long in Pirna in June, meaning that there is a lot of sunlinght, and white lace curtains don´t make the room very dark. There is no breakfast, so if you need that, you need to get it somewhere else (there are some bakeries and supermarkets near that open early).
