Very happy

Cleanness of the room and the bathroom. The price. The possibility to use the internet.

It used to be a coffee machine downstairs - not any more. It would be nice to have a small fridge inside the room. There are cabinets for those.

A very good room, spacious and large. The rooms are clean, a good place to stay overnight while on the way.

The location isn't particularly attractive, right next to the Czech border.

It’s right on the border between Germany and Czech Republic. The room was large and the TV worked the way it was supposed to work. Since the pension is literally on the border, the police are parked outside to carry out border checks, so we felt very safe. The hosts were very easy to contact.

When we arrived, we had not received the check-in info, so we tried to ask some employees/owner (?) at the restaurant below. They were very unhelpful and unfriendly and said they had nothing to do with the hotel; however, their menu was in the bedrooms. We found the number to call the host, and she was very responsive and immediately sent the check-in info. Although the room was very clean, when we entered the apartment, we were greeted with a stench of what my son equated to an “old man smoking cigars”. After we settled in, the odor improved but you could tell that they were trying to mask the nasty odor of the carpet, which needs to be fully cleaned or even replaced. The pension is located right next to the border crossing, so you often see people trying to cross the border illegally. On the day we were there, a small group of young men tried to cross, which sent police and security guards from a nearby restaurant running in different directions.

The pension is located right next to the border, excellent car parking conditions. The apartment is huge and in good condition, excellently clean and very calm. No contact with the team but very friendly and cordial on the phone.
