Pension La Cascina

Really friendly personal, the place is very clean, the restaurant seemed to be good cause it was full. The bed was great to sleep, I would love to have their cover blanket on my bed. I would definitely go back again if I go and visit around again.

A charming guesthouse not far from the centre of Tuttlingen. I arrived late in the evening but was able to arrange a light meal without trouble. The room was spacious and comfortably equipped with nice views over the village. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of cereals, cold meats, cheeses, fruit, breads and pastries. Add to this the beauty of the local countryside. If I return to this area, I'll have no hesitation in staying at La Cascina again,

If you’re visiting the area and you look for a place to eat don’t go here. I was fooled by the italian name of the place and I hoped for a nice plate of pasta. I ordered spaghetti bolognese , but i get just a poor copy of this. The sos was so poor in meat that at the first moment I didn’t see meat at all. The tomatoes where smashed a little and not cooked enough. One of the worst pasta that I ever eaten. Too bad for the interior of the restaurant, looks good.

Facilities like in any small village Gasthaus, comfortable beds, neat room, peaceful night. The restaurant was in fact Italian with a German twist: and that twist ( read mistake). After a month in Italy, we chose soups (OK) and schnitzels. Had we taken pizzas and pastas like the most lokals did, would we be much happier and la Cascina have got better awards.
