Schönes Gasthaus mit leckerem fränkischem Essen und sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Zimmer modern und gut ausgestattet. Nettes Personal….also rundum sehr gut.

Wunderschöner alter Gasthof mit modernen Hotelzimmern im Anbau. Freundliches Hotel-Team, saubere Zimmer mit bequemen Betten, tolles Frühstück und abends leckere fränkische Küche im gemütlichen Gastraum. Auch mein Hund war herzlich willkommen.

Schöner Gasthof mit herrlichen Biergarten.

This is a great hotel and I would highly recommend it. We liked everything! The staff were all very nice and friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable, the restaurant/biergarten right under our windows was an absolute highlight! We traveled with small kids and were somewhat concerned it may get too noisy in the evening, but it turned out we had nothing to worry about - the noise level was very tolerable, even during the weekend, and our kids had no issues falling asleep even with open windows. The location is perfect for exploring Franconia by car - right in the middle between Nuremberg and Coburg and between Würzburg and Bayreuth.

1. Breakfast is very overhyped on this website. It was OK+, but I found it not even close to being as extraordinary as may other reviews suggest. Maybe it gets an upgrade during the high season, but during our stay (beginning of May) is was nothing special. The staff at breakfast are very friendly and helpful though. 2. The pillows were too thin for me, which impacted my sleep quality a lot. The rest of the family had no issues. I know it is a matter of personal preference, but having an extra set of pillows in the room (so that two thin pillows can be used) would be a cheap and simple solution for such cases.

Wir wurden bei der Ankunft herzlich empfangen. Insgesamt fiel die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals positiv auf. Unser Zimmer und das Bad waren geräumig, die Fenster gingen in Richtung eines schönen Biergartens und besaßen sogar Fliegengitter. Das Abendessen war sehr schmackhaft, das Frühstücksbuffet bestach durch seine Reichhaltigkeit. Hervorzuheben sind hier die veganene Optionen.
