Pension Lemke

Herr Lemke ist sehr freundlich, die Pension hat eine schön ruhige Lage, das Restaurant ist sehr gut, die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll.

Zum zweiten Mal toll. Ruhig mit Blick in den Garten (und eigener Terrasse). Sehr geräumig, komfortabel, sauber und für Selbstversorger exzellent eingerichtet. Unkompliziertes, hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal. Jederzeit gern wieder!!!

Eine sehr saubere Pension mit allem was man braucht...das kleine Restaurant anbei bietet eine sehr leckere Speisekarte und das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und hat auch immer einen lustigen Spruch auf den Lippen ...es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt...einchecken und auschecken war vollkommen unkompliziert

The guesthouse is located in a quiet rural area. It’s peaceful and beautiful, with restaurants serving delicious food. The nearest grocery store is about a 5-minute drive away. The bay is a 15-20 minute walk away with a small beach. The sea and a large beach (Glowe) are an 8-minute drive away. All the attractions on Rügen Island (Kap Arkona, national park Jasmund or Sassnitz) are easily accessible by car and are close by. We stayed in the comfortable apartment with a terrace, which was spacious and had a separate bedroom and fully equipped kitchen. Cleanliness was perfect. The overall standard is very high. Free parking is right at the entrance to the apartment.

No one at the guesthouse spoke English, so we communicated through a translation app. The restaurant at the facility has limited opening hours, but there is another one within a 10-minute walk. However, these weren't big issues. The main problem: 4 days after check-out we received a message from the host claiming we had broken the terrace door and needed to pay for it. During our stay, the terrace door worked perfectly! If there had been any problem, we would have reported immediately. Upon departure, we followed host's instructions to lock the door and leave the key in the mailbox. There were no complaints on the day of check-out, but three days later, the host contacted us with this. During those days, any staff member, cleaning service for example, could have entered the room and accidentally broke the terrace door. We are outraged by the claims. They want guests pay for the technical problems in their house (although the guests did not cause any damage). The situation reported to Booking.com, it is unacceptable. Because of this, I cannot give a good rating for our stay. On the day of check-out, I gave this guesthouse 10 stars, but had to change my review.
