Well maintained, clean, comfortable

The apartment is spacious and well equipped. It has everything you need, very quiet and relaxing stay. Excellent breakfast also.

I never enjoy a 10am checkout especially on Sunday, and especially when checkin starts late afternoon. The checkout inspection seemed a bit excessive as well.

Location was excellent! Beautiful little village. Close to Eifel National Park.

New and spacious room, tasteful equipped room and building. Extra surprise was the daily fresh self baked bread and buns for breakfast. Everything was well thought of and taken care by friendly owner.

Beautiful, spacious apartment, comfortable rooms. Very good beds. Cosy living room and kitchen. Even though it's an apartment, there's still breakfast included, which they deliver right to your kitchen table in the morning.

There's only a window at the very front of the house, in the living room. To get light to the 2 bedrooms, they've installed glass windows between these rooms. For privacy, you can close a kind of curtain from both sides, but these don't close completely, so light still comes through, which isn't great if you have difficulty sleeping and the next room still has the light on.

Stay: April 23 to 24 2024. This is a cool small "pension" is the heart of Gemünd, in the outskirts of the Eifel National Park. With a parking lot across the street, things are made easy for those traveling by car. With a small number of rooms, the hearty breakfast was understandably not a buffet style but plentiful being brough to your assigned table (it was nice to have the breakfast included option). Frau Margot weas very kind and helpful. The room, bed and bathrooms were very comfortable with everything needed for a good rest after a day of hiking or travel. Very nice and clear wood floors, with a tray at the room entrance inviting guests to leave their shoes/boots there, keeping the room clean.

There is a set of stairs to go up which can be a bit challenging for those who come with large suitcases (not our case). There is not much to do in town and the main brewery was closed in the day we were in town. Most business close at 5 pm at this time of the year. Like in many hotels we visit, a night light in the bathroom was missing. Those are good to have in case the guests need for a bio-stop in the early hours of the morning when everything is still dark, and you wake up not really knowing where you are. Those lights would prevent the use of main lights throughout the night.
