Pension Domblick

We always stay here because the location is excellent. It’s walking distance from the train station and walking distance to the Altstadt and everything we want to see and do. Our rooms have always had a small fridge that’s great for stashing leftovers or small water bottles. The staff have always been fantastic. Wetzlar is an overlooked gem and great place to visit.

I didn’t like the time we were on the top floor - too many stairs! So now we ask for a room on a lower floor and it’s just fine.

We stayed at Pension Domblick for one night as we drove across Europe, but we would have liked to have stayed longer! The property is situated right by parkland near the river and it is so quiet and peaceful. The town of Wetzlar is gorgeous and there's loads to see and do there and plenty of good restaurants. We didn't have time to go in the swimming pool but it looked wonderful. We slept so well, thanks to the quiet and the comfy bed. Breakfast was buffet style and there was loads of choice and plenty of everything.

Room spacial, very quiet with a comfortable bed and roomy bathrom. Breakfast buffet was just amazing! Very fresh. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. GReat Location, just a short walk to the Old town, the Theater and to the Shops. Lots to see in the area.

Just perfect for staying overnight after canoe-tour. You will get friendly service, shower(a bit small, I don't know if it applies to all rooms), bed and nice breakfast. Also it lies very central and there is very good "Biergarten" near there.

Let's start with the warning: if you are used to 4* Business Hotels you will be dissappointed. This is not the kind of hotel you are looking at. It is great if you come late and leave early and do not want to do business talks. It is quite old fashioned. But it'll suit to your need: a good bed, a shower, a fairly good breakfast - I expected far worse - and a central position when you could still find a bar to take a beer. The price range fits to the description: 3 * for the price/value ratio - 1 * for the absence of place to have a small meeting or discussion.
