Staff is nice, fast communications. We had requested baggage transfer for our Camino, and they texted us when our bags were picked up. Excellent Location for exploring the city.

Mattress is soft for our preference (but this is personal preference and most hotels we stayed in northern Spain have soft beds).

Great value stay at Pension Urumea for a short notice trip (~2 weeks out). The room was comfortable and was cleaned daily. There were beach towels, a kettle, and a hairdryer provided. The staff spoke excellent English. The location was perfect for us, just a 10 minute walk to the old town, less than 10 minutes to the beach and a 6 minute walk to the bus station where you can catch the bus to Bilbao airport or other places. There was a bakery and small supermarket just across the road. The old town was very busy and we much preferred this location for our trip.

The property is in a great location, right in the center of the city. The room was clean and quiet.
