🚫🚫🚫 Extremely unsafe experience, avoid this place at all costs... 🚫🚫🚫

I had a very disturbing and unsafe experience at Hostal Los Andes in Madrid. The owner, Florentino, contacted me by WhatsApp call immediately after I completed my booking (around two months before my trip). He insisted that I cancel my reservation made through Booking and make a new one through his own website, promising to give me €50 in compensation. This was already very suspicious and inappropriate. After I refused to cancel, he continued insisting and messaging me repeatedly. Two days before my arrival, he started calling and messaging again non stop, which felt like harassment. When I finally arrived, a woman who said she was his wife gave me the room. The next morning, to my shock, the owner entered my room twice without my consent. I don’t know for what reason, but it made me feel completely unsafe. While I was trying to contact Booking support, he began banging violently on my door, insisting that he wanted to talk. I ignored him, but when I left the room he was waiting outside and got too close to me in an intimidating way. I even considered calling the police. The room itself was also terrible: the beds were extremely hard, the window was sealed with a metal cover and couldn’t be opened, and there was no air conditioning. Overall, this was a frightening and uncomfortable experience. I strongly advise against staying here. Do not book this place it’s unsafe and very poorly managed.

Excelente localização, a poucos passos do metrô e ao lado de um maravilhoso café. Acomodações confortáveis e tranquilas, bem organizada e sossegada. As toalhas eram trocadas todos os dias e super cheirosas!

Senti falta que tivesse uma máquina Nespresso para poder chegar da rua e tomar um café para recarregar as energias das caminhada. Entendo que não é o objetivo da hospedagem, no entanto.
