Reasonable breakfast and easy to join the cycle lanes

It didn’t start well. We arrived albeit early parking in their car park and a rather unpleasant man began a conversation by saying “move your car, you can’t park there. Park on the road. He then said that they were not open until 2pm. We explained that we had booked two rooms but he told us to go away and come back later. We asked if he could recommend somewhere for lunch and he told us to go 10 miles away but in fact there was a lovely place just across the bridge. Eventually we booked in to a poor cramped room with awful bedding and horrible towels. Refused to give us ice for our water and were upset when we wanted to pay by credit card. Plenty more to grumble but I don’t want to go on.

price/value +++ good breakfast , perfect location , spacious clean room, perfect to eat diner in the hotel too. enough free parking place, close to beilstein, cochem and mörsdorf. close to many good vinyards.

Very good breakfast. I am a vegetarian and it had enough options for me too.
