Posada Rincón del Pas

I was cycling, heading for Burgos and beyond. Cristina could not have been more welcoming, kind and helpful. Her Posada is a perfectly lovely and restful place to stay. Just two hours cycle from Santander, it was the ideal first-night stay before some very hard days.

Nothing.

This hotel is cosy and has character, is clean and comfortable. Owner Cristina is delightful, very friendly (her dog is very friendly, too!) and generous with advice about things to see and do and places to eat. We were made to feel very welcome and at home. We enjoyed breakfast, complete with fruit juice enlivened by lemons from the tree in the garden. The location is perfect, on the edge of the small town of Puente Viesgo but within an easy walk of everything. (Well, maybe not so easy if you're walking up to the El Castillo cave site!) For us the town is perfect for a restful pitstop on the way to the ferry terminal at Santander and as a destination in its own right and Posada del Rincon del Pas will always be our accommodation of choice.

There's nothing to not like. There's no restaurant on site but there are places to eat within easy walking distance.

Überaus freundliche und sympathische Gastgeberin, wunderschöne Flusslandschaft. Wir kommen wieder :-).

Lo que más nos ha gustado ha sido ,sin duda, el trato de Cristina la propietaria. Atenta en todo momento ha conseguido que nuestro fin de semana haya sido espectacular.Gracias.Volveremos.

Cristina, la dueña, es lamejor anfitriona de España. Está siempre a la espectativa de poder ayudarte.

La ducha es incómoda.
