"Just what we were hoping for"

Lovely and warm hosts. Friendly and homey but still giving you space. Best beakfast we have had all year.

If you have a big car, park next square along.

Very nice place to stay if you're in the area.

A bit expansive though to be honnest, the diner is not great value for money and the owners could be more friendly.

"Absolutely gorgeous hotel, everything you wish for."

Cal Mestre Casa Rural is a wonderful place, very relaxing and has a stunning view on local vineyards with a private pool. We called it a hidden gem in a very traditional Spanish village. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with luxurious bathrooms. The breakfast was very rich in local fresh products and ingredients. We absolutely loved everything here, and will definitely come back again. The hosts are very friendly, and offer great hospitality.

"Great boutique lodge in a beautiful setting."

Beautiful location in a small village in Penedes wine region. Set on a hill with great views over the surrounding vineyards. Hosts were very friendly and accomodating with good communication.

"Superb"

A beautiful rural retreat with some lovely touches. The decor was very tasteful and the bedrooms were comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the pool area which, despite the unseasonal rain, provided a lovely area to swim and relax. A delicious breakfast, served by our hosts, on the terrasse with amazing views of the region. We particularly loved that it was dog friendly, apart from around the swimming pool area. Overall, a lovely stay.

The place is beautiful, very well decorated and quiet.. The only down side but quite a big one is the attitude of the owner.. We arrived late (10pm) while check-in time was until 8 but we didn’t pay attention to this detail. He said he tried to contact us, which is probably true even if I didn’t receive any message nor call.. no email, no message on booking either. When we arrived we got reprimanded like kids for quite a while, even after apologizing.. after all it was only 2 hours late.. Next morning after a dip in the pool was sitting on the terrace having coffee and was asked coldly to wear more clothes for hygiene reasons.. Quite embarrassing. Didn’t see a smile for the whole stay from him either.

The pool area is great with open view on the valley
