The swimming pool is great!

Bar and restaurant remain closed since the pandemic. It is a pity because there are not many places to eat in Hornachelos.

Very friendly staff. David was extremely helpful and the cleaning crew were very friendly and cheery. The room was clean, lots of additional blankets pillows if you need them, there was a small fridge to store food / drinks and also an ice tray. The rain shower was excellent and the bathroom was modern and functional. The beds were comfortable and outside there are three grills which guests can use to cook their own food, there are three sinks to prepare food and clean after, and on some nights a pizza van parks just outside the car park - they make excellent food. It's right beside a petrol station that also sells light snacks and has a cigarette machine (cash) in case you forget to go to the Tobacconist or they are closed. Closest Mercadona is in Palma Del Rio, a 15 minute drive away Overall a pleasant place - we liked.

The TV was very small. I felt the outside could do with a power wash and a bit of paint here and there, but maybe this adds character.

well equipped kitchen, private parking in front of the property, shower was hot, clean beds (just don’t check under them), heaters in bedroom and living room.

i was made to wait over half an hour to check in despite assurances someone was about to arrive. the photos of the available room suggested a modern, walk-in shower with glass panel but reality was a child sized bath with shower curtain. perfunctory but misled. the old WEP secured wifi network is not compatible with all modern devices.

We have stayed here several times before and really lime it. The swimming pool is great.

Unfortunately the restaurant and bar had to close two years ago but there is an outdoor kitchen on the property with microwave and BBQ so it is possible to cook for oneself.
