First time I have really experienced Spain as a solo traveller I arrived at the hotel well after 9 pm and was greeted by the chap. He was really nice, I asked if it was ok to pay in the morning and he agreed it was fine I just wanted to shower and treat my bug bites and looking like the hunch back of notre dam by the second ,however, I was met in the morning with rudeness and I was stunned(i had been bitten by mosquitos, ants and bed bugs so i probably looked a fright with the tooth paste on my face trying to calm down all the itching), however, this seems to be a thing in spain and morocco. Tourists aren't welcome. You should be proud people want to see your country, (and we have the same problems just like you guys but we dont take it out on tourists) We are very warm to people visiting our country. I asked about the terrace and was abruptly told this was private. Did not like having to share a toilet, especially during the night, and felt awkward because I didn't want to wake anyone up with being noisey, I'm deaf so I can't hear how loud the noise would be. The room was very, very small, with no windows. This made it feel unsafe, and my booking confirmation stated my room was on the ground floor. So after letting things settle down after the rudeness I explained this and asked to be moved, the reason was I am deaf and felt more secure on the ground floor and was not comfortable with the room not having a window no natural light which i need to wake me up, because i cant hear alarms, if I had known I was sleeping in a box room with no windows I would have booked somewhere else. I was told there were no rooms available, I checked, and there was. There was no kettle to make tea and after travelling all day it was very much needed at that time of night, the room was small so I had to eat on the bed or go out.

The apartment that we rented doesn’t have a window. There is one, but you are looking in a closed hall.

"Poor"

Location was close to center and staff was cheerful and helpful.

The room had a strong, unpleasant smell of dampness. Finding nearby parking was nearly impossible, so we had to park far from the hotel. The room lacked windows, and the shared bathrooms were neither clean nor well-maintained.
