"Unforgettable Valencia Vacation!"

8.0

Perfect weather, great accommodation, and a fantastic host made my stay truly memorable. Valencia itself is a captivating destination. From the historic charm of the Old Town to the futuristic wonders of the City of Arts and Sciences, there was always something exciting to explore. A must-visit is the BIOPARC Valencia. It's almost as if you're in Africa. Huge zoo with lots of beautiful animals to see. Pepe was a wonderful host and helped me with all the questions i had. I traveled around with the Yego electric scooters, because of the great weather it was great to ride them.

I slept in the bedroom with a single person bed. The only downside was that the bed was making squeaking noises. But i mean, it's much more affordable than other hotels/accommodations, so I didn't really mind it! Other than that, everything was perfect. I stayed in a good neighbourhood. Pepe provided a great room, excellent service, and all the amenities I needed. Keep in mind that you have to share the bathroom with other residents. Pepe was friendly, helpful and made me feel right at home. Gave me a map of the city and gave me tips on some places I could go.

"Very disappointing"

2.0

The location of the flat.

You live together in the flat with the owner. The kitchen unit was a lie, when I booked it. There is an oven but you are not allowed to use it nor the oven plates and he got aggressive after I asked him why, so eventually you have only a microwave and a fridge. No possibility to cook water if you need hot water. Another lie in the description is, that every room would have an own fridge, there is only one fridge in the entire flat. No washing machine, you need to wash your clothes in a washing center The walls are so thin, you hear every conversation of your neighbours and get waked up with the first alarm clock of the day, even when one of the neighbours get up at 5am on a Sunday. (Yes, that happened.) The shower is so small and narrow, you can't shower properly when you are 1,80m and taller. The mattress was worn out and the apartment smelled weird. The communication with him was very intricate and complicated, I had to write several messages to receive essential information. Communication should be possible in English, but it wasn't possible to communicate in English with him, he speaks just a few words English. The owner of the flat complaint every day about the other guest, on the third day he started to complaint about me…it seems to me, that he doesn't like to live with other men, other reviews confirm this assumption. If you want to live alone, don't rent parts of your flat to other people. At least he can be a nice person and offered me extra blankets, because the room was freezing cold due to a missing radiator. The entire flat doesn't have any kind of radiator (except in his own room, you cold feel the warm temperature next to his door) which made it very cold when outside are just five degrees during the night. The owner left two balcony doors, each on both sides of the flat, open in the evening for almost an hour while outside are 7⁰ Celsius and while he knew that I caught a heavy cold in his flat during my stay.

I like how close the apartment was to the center, and the owners hospitality. He was very helpful with telling me about the area. I definitely see myself staying there again.
