Jim the proprietor was pleasant and helpful. There is an excellent fast electric charger nearby.

The rave reviews on booking.com were very far from true. On seeing the place I re-read the reviews in shock then checked the trip advisor reviews which were spot on. I’ll never trust booking.com reviews ever again. I had been swayed by the wonderful reviews and hadn’t noticed there weren’t en-suite facilities or I would never have booked. Guests with downstairs rooms have to climb a steep set of stairs to the bathrooms on the floor above, hardly practical during the night or pleasant at any time. I saw 3 rooms, all rather seedy and was reminded of the TV programme “Rising Damp”.
