The room was very spacious, with an awesome view of the hills and Peveril castle. The bed was super comfy and was so lovely to come in after a long day of walking to find the bed made up again and refreshments/snacks restocked. Alan was great to chat to and was very welcoming. Would come back again if it’s available when we next want to visit the Peak District!

Huge and nicely decorated room and bathroom, perfect location,the efficient blunding curtains were much appreciated . Pubs and restaurants, tea rooms 3 min walk, and the host made my arrival so easy!

Lovely guesthouse in the village of Castleton. Owner, Alan is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They have two very spacious ensuite rooms. My room was very clean with plenty of storage, tea & coffee making facilities. Fresh water and milk replenished daily into the very useful fridge. Huge double bed was so comfortable and there is a two seater sofa to sit at and gaze out of the window for an exceptional view!. Perfect ensuite facilities. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to explore and walk in, and around, Castleton. So handy for all the pubs, shops, cafes and bus station. Thank you so much to lovely hosts Alan & Cassa.

Perfect location for exploring Castleton and local area, accommodation had everything we needed for our short stay and the room was clean and tidy. Our slight issue with TV was rectified immediately which we took as a positive.
