VILLA ALBA ROSULA

We were looking for a one-night stay close to the airport after a long journey to Corsica. The owner stayed in touch with me over WhatsApp to know when we were coming, etc. We were arriving late, and I was fasting due to an Indian festival, which meant that I would need a very late dinner at nearly 10 pm. She actually accommodated us! She sent us the menu over WhatsApp and we chose our meals. The food blew us away. For my main, I had requested a salad with warm goat cheese, and my husband ordered a bouillabaisse. My salad was INCREDIBLE. The owners also run their own restaurant, and they are fantastic. They grow vegetables themselves for the salad and other meals. It was one of the best meals I had in a long time. And the chef came to have a wee chat as well and explained to me how the salad was made. I will attempt to replicate it! We slept in the next morning, as we were completely exhausted by our long flights. I WhatsApped the owner in the morning to let her know that we would not be having breakfast as we were sleeping in. We finally made it out by 10:45...and found a scrumptious breakfast waiting for us. FYI, the breakfast officially ends at 10 am there. But she just prepared everything for us anyway. There was no rush to check out. The vibe was very chilled out and calm. About the room- The bed was super comfy, there is an AC, the shower and bathroom are separate and spacious. The wifi worked very well. The shower pressure was decent as well. And, there was a spacious balcony attached to the room. It's a family-run business which is very professional. It was a really great stay, and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I wish I had time to try more meals there. When we left, the chef was marinating wild boar!

La villa e' stupenda non c'e' niente da dire. E' tutto pulitissimo nuovissimo super tecnologico. Si sta benissimo. Carol e' gentilissima e molto accogliente.

Excellent accueil de Carole qui est de très bons conseils et très disponible. Petit déjeuner de qualité et compris dans le prix de la nuitée. Il est recommandé d'avoir un véhicule afin de rejoindre le centre ville d'Ajaccio... J'y reviendrai avec grand plaisir!

Perfekter 2-tägiger Zwischenstopp auf unserer Korsika Rundreise, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Moderne, gepflegte Ausstattung, herzliche Gastgeber und hervorragende Küche, sowohl das korsische Frühstück als auch die kleine, aber feine Abendkarte. Die etwas abgelegene Lage ist kein Problem wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist.

Très bel endroit, Carole et Georges s'occupent à merveille de leurs hôtes! À recommander absolument! Nous avons passé un super séjour à la Villa Alba Rosula.

Een verblijf in Villa Alba Rosula is thuis komen in een huis waar je nog nooit bent geweest maar wel graag zou willen zijn! De rust, de uitstraling van het hele pand, de afwerking en de aankleding alles is top. En aller belangrijkste de gastvrouw Carole en gastheer George zijn werkelijk de perfecte gastvrouw en gastheer. George zijn kookkunsten zorgen er voor dat je ieder avond wel hier wilt eten. En Carole zorgt er voor dat je je direct thuis voelt en heerlijk kunt genieten. Wij hebben al haar tips opgevolgd en alles was iedere keer weer meer dan de moeite waard. Un séjour à la Villa Alba Rosula, c'est comme rentrer dans une maison que vous n'avez jamais visitée mais que vous aimeriez tant visiter ! La tranquillité, l'ambiance de la propriété, les finitions et la décoration sont superbes. Et surtout, les hôtes, Carole et George, sont vraiment des hôtes parfaits. La cuisine de George donne envie d'y dîner tous les soirs. Et Carole vous fait sentir comme chez vous et vous fait savourer un merveilleux repas. Nous avons suivi tous ses conseils et tout en valait la peine à chaque fois.
