"Σε γενικές γραμμές η διαμονή μας ήταν ευχάριστη."

Ήταν σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, στο κέντρο της Μαδρίτης, με πολύ εύκολη πρόσβαση σε σταθμό του μετρό, σε στάσεις λεωφορείου, στην αγορά και σε διάφορα εστιατόρια. Ακριβώς κάτω από το Hostal υπήρχε σούπερ μάρκετ που ήταν ανοιχτό 7/7 και 24/24. Το δωμάτιο καθαριζοταν καθημερινά και διέθετε ατομικό μπάνιο που ήταν πρόσφατα ανακαινισμένο. Στο δωμάτιο υπήρχε ένα μικρό παλιό ψυγείο και υπηρχε η δυνατότητα να χρησιμοποιησεις ένα φούρνο μικροκυμμάτων που βρισκόταν σε κοινόχρηστο χώρο. Το βράδυ η κεντρική πόρτα της εισόδου κλείδωνε και ένιωθες πιο ασφαλής. Τέλος, ο ιδιοκτήτης και όλα τα μέλη της οικογένειας του ήταν πολύ φιλικά και πρόθυμα να βοηθήσουν.

Τα έπιπλα ήταν παλιά. Υπήρχε μία ανοιχτή ντουλάπα με κρεμάστρες που ήταν πρόχειρα φτιαγμένη από κάποιον ερασιτέχνη που δεν διέθετε τα κατάλληλα εργαλεία. Υπήρχε μία τηλεόραση με τηλεκοντρόλ που δεν λειτουγούσε. Δυστυχώς, ο ιδιοκτήτης δεν μιλουσε αγγλικά, όπως και οι περισσότεροι Ισπανοί.
