It was very tired & resembled the boarding houses you saw in past years. The decor was very tired, the beds were very uncomfortable (the mattress was awful & the springs dug into us, making for a poor night’s sleep), also the duvet, pillows & curtains were very thin & of poor quality, we also woke a couple of times during the night & it was very cold. One of the bedside lamps didn’t work & the shower had poor pressure. Although the room was actually clean, the decor was very shoddy & tired, the wardrobe was very dirty inside. I can’ comment on the staff as there didn’t appear to be any at the property & the only contact was by phone.

GBThey gave a stranger the code to get into my room after they'd checked me in. When I arrived there (within the check-in window posted online) was nobody to check people in but numbers to call instead which would have been fine but nobody answered the first of the two numbers and when I called the second one they texted me to ask if I could call back later and didn't respond when I said I was already outside. Fortunately a few minutes later a different person arrived whose call they did answer and she was kind enough to pass her phone over to me so that they could check me in after her. The way the locks work you are given a code to type in to open the door when you first arrive and then there's a keycard inside the room you can use that afterwards. My first night there I heard a noise at the door after 10pm and realised that it was somebody trying to enter my room. Fortunately I had put the chain on so it didn't open all of the way. I heard them on the phone to staff confirming which room number they were trying to open. They then typed in the code to enter a second time before I went to the door and asked them to stop trying to get into my room. Other smaller issues with the place were that the cleanliness wasn't great and even though the bathroom window had a textured surface it seemed really weird that it had such a large window with no blinds in the room you shower in.
