Conditioner worked incorrectly and turned off sometimes unexpectedly.

Res. Estava brut. Cada dia vam trobar escarabats al terra. Tot i escriure als propietaris sobre el tema, mai ens van respondre. Al segon dia es va espatllar el wifi, també vam escriure un mail per a que ho arreglessin i tampoc ens van respondre. La habitació i el celobert feien olor a clavaguera. Se suposava que tenia cuina però tant sols tenia un microones. Portàvem el nostre fill i no hi havia llit supletori. Vam demanar un; no ens van respondre. Això sí, quan vam enviar un mail per demanar guardar les maletes en una guixeta, ens van respondre immediatament cobrant-nos un extra.

Let’s start with the positives: the property was in a great location, and was clean on arrival.

My first problem was actually finding it. It took me, my taxi driver, a waiter in a nearby bar and a random passer by half an hour to locate it. This was after 11.00 pm following 17 hours of travel. Then I was obliged to carry my suitcase up a very narrow, steep winding staircase. So, to the accommodation itself. I had requested a double bed, so was disappointed to see two small singles. I believe there may have been a slightly larger bed on a “shelf” above the kitchen/bathroom, but there was no way I was going to risk climbing the treacherous ladder that led up there. The bedding was old and tired, and frankly ugly. The elastic had failed in the bottom sheet, so it kept coming off, revealing another hideous sheet - no proper mattress protector. The WiFi was not functioning - no lights on the router - and so I was advised to piggy back onto one from another room, giving a weaker signal. The light switch by the bed didn’t work, and there was no bedside light, so I had to fumble my way to bed in the dark. The shower was functional, but with the smallest entrance I’ve ever seen, and the soap dispenser had not been replenished and didn’t contain enough for my stay. There was no towel rail, only two hooks on the wall, one of which was falling off. There was no bath mat or waste bin in the bathroom, and the toilet brush was, frankly, a disgrace.

Mi intención no es ofender, sino aportar una opinión sincera que pueda ayudar a mejorar el alojamiento. Lo que más nos incomodó fueron las escaleras, que resultan muy difíciles de subir, especialmente para personas de cierta edad o con movilidad reducida. Además, la ducha estaba atascada y el ruido constante de la nevera durante la noche era bastante molesto. La habitación transmitía una sensación general de descuido. Los muebles eran de calidad muy básica y algunos detalles, como utilizar perchas de tiendas mezcladas, daban una imagen poco cuidada. Son aspectos sencillos de mejorar con una inversión mínima, por ejemplo incorporando perchas uniformes o prestando algo más de atención a la presentación. También encontramos problemas de mantenimiento: la puerta de la habitación cerraba mal y se quedaba abierta si no se forzaba levantándola. Junto a la habitación había lavadoras domésticas oxidadas y la colada del alojamiento a la vista, algo que podría ocultarse fácilmente para mejorar la imagen del conjunto. A esto se sumaba una notable presencia de mosquitos. En general, considero que el alojamiento tiene mucho margen de mejora. El precio me parece elevado para el nivel de instalaciones y mantenimiento que ofrece actualmente. Aunque puede resultar aceptable para quienes estén acostumbrados a alojamientos muy sencillos, percibí cierta falta de atención en numerosos aspectos que serían relativamente fáciles de solucionar con algo más de cuidado o asesoramiento profesional.
