Very easy to check-in and host accommodating to drop off bags earlier and in fact check-in as room ready

We're light sleepers, so we heard the traffic noise from 5.30 am

I received a warm welcome from Corinne who showed me my room and left me to it. The room was perfect. Private entrance. Spotlessly clean, warm and super comfortable. Stylishly decorated with antique furniture, exposed stone wall, and wooden shutters at the windows to cut out the light. Fantastic en suite with powerful shower. Toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. Iron, hairdryer, tv. Location was just off a quiet road, up a cobbled side street, and around the corner from the main street of Skipton, with lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The castle and grounds are also just around the corner. 15 minute walk from the train station.

I couldn't find a wifi code and had arrived late so didn't like to ask. I was only staying one night so quite enjoyed being offline for a bit.

Only the steps up due to a current health struggle.

Perfect location. Full of character and old world charm. Comfortable and cosy.

Steps and cobbles were a bit difficult to negotiate in the wet and dark, but certainly not a problem.

Superb location for accessing town centre. Perfect for my purposes as a single traveller on business for 2 nights - the same would apply to a couple staying where a quiet location and bed are simply what is required. It's cosy and small but wouldn't put anybody off booking it. Host extremely pleasant too, which is always a bonus.
