Park Cottage

The property was in an excellent location with parking. It was easy to walk into the centre of Warwick + to the Castle. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Janet and her husband were very welcoming and gave their guests lots of useful information about where to visit and what to see.

The only slight problem that we found with the bedroom was that it was quite dark, making it very difficult to read in the evening. Perhaps this should be expected with a listed building, although a little extra lighting near the bed could help.

The cottage is absolutely stunning, beautiful rooms, we were lucky to stay in the four poster bed room, awesome.

Beautiful historic cottage full of authentic character — exposed oak beams, uneven floors, and charming original features throughout. It feels truly unique and atmospheric. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming, with excellent local knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for making guests feel at home. The location is outstanding — just a few steps from the main entrance to Warwick Castle, which is incredibly convenient. As a younger couple, we found the fixtures and fittings lean more towards a traditional style rather than modern. However, everything was clean, well maintained, and entirely in keeping with the age and character of the property.

Nothing significant — everything met our expectations for a historic period property.

The hosts were welcoming and helping. They gave us a map and showed us where the relevant visitor attractions were. The location is perfect. A short walk to the right to town or to the left for the castle. The hotel is a beautiful grade 2 listed building that used to be part of the castle estate. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed with extra touches like a chocolate on our pillows. I especiallyliked that there was decaffeinated coffee .in the room The breakfast was well presented and very tasty
