We were aware from reviews this property was very dated but it was spotlessly clean breakfast was good with very pleasant cheerful man serving.location excellent with good parking

Felt it didn’t meet its four star rating shower feeble and tired drinks provided in room very limited choice. This is an old property with poor noise insulation between rooms which caused us a major problem! We were not asked if we slept well or enjoyed our stay

"Location good but not for a long stay"

Hotel is away from the road so no overnight noise Walking distance to cathedral (15 mins) Plenty of parking

No lift. Stairs are narrow and not well lit. We had an electric heater that kept on shorting. Bar didn’t appear to be open.

"Good place for the Cathedral"

The location, great breakfast. Lovely lady serving breakfast.had everything you needed in the room. Beautiful garden ( not that we could go out there due to the weather. Ample parking.

The end suite shower room was tired but didn't affect the stay.
