Golden Cross Guesthouse

Loved the location- so close to everything we wanted to see.Loved the gorgeous old building - it has quirks as expected but our room was large and comfortable- more than expected, given the age of the building!

The stairs will not suit everyone, but are something we have come to expect in accommodation in an older building in the UK. It adds to the experience 😉!

Estaba todo muy sucio y descuidado. Las instalaciones son viejas y está todo sujeto con cinta americana o grapas.. el edificio es verdad que es viejo y supongo que rehabilitarlo sea complicado, pero está todo desnivelado nivel pones una botella en el suelo y rueda de lado… da mucha sensación de inestabilidad, de hecho mi pareja que tiene vértigo se mareaba en todas las estancias… Oxford es muy pequeño, no merece la pena ir aquí solo por la ubicación porque está todo cerca y se puede ir andando.

地段非常好，楼下就是市中心，很大一家boots，各品牌的超市都很近，2分钟的路程，房间舒服，洗手间大，厨房更大，可惜不能用炉子，买了牛排回来才发现，幸好有微波炉，叮热吃也很美味。谢谢房东。

如果厨房的电炉也可以使用就更完美了。

The location was not bad.

The entire hotel does not match the description on your website. The bathroom is extremely unhygienic, with possible mold growth. The walls are heavily soiled and stained. The room is generally very dirty, especially the carpet. The walls have large stains and are partially peeling. Some areas have been hastily repaired with tape. The room door and the house/apartment door appear very unsafe. There is an acute fire hazard: two power strips with numerous plugged-in devices are lying unsecured on the carpet. There was no designated person at the reception desk. The cleaning lady took over this task, but spoke little English and was unable to answer any questions.
